Welcome to Anita Vidyalaya Higher Secondary School
Anita Vidyalaya Higher Secondary School is an educational venture of St. Anne’s, Bangalore, initiated in 1974 with the specific aim of giving quality education to children of the locality and neighbouring places, following the State syllabus.
Sisters of St. Anne, Bangalore (SAB) is a religious community of Sisters committed to the cause of education. Through their vast network of over a hundred educational institutions across the country, they carry forward a legacy of learning and service.

We firmly believe that the education of the youth helps to create a better human society. We seek to impart sound education leading to the spiritual, intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of the child. The education imparted at St. Anne’s opens the heart as well as the mind and pursues excellence in all aspects of life.
Mission
We aim to achieve our goals through child-centred and activity-oriented methods—with care, love, understanding and firmness—so as to inculcate moral and cultural values, uphold human dignity and our composite culture, and develop a sense of social responsibility and faith.

Principal’s message
It’s a joy for me to introduce my school to you. Anita Vidyalaya Higher Secondary School, Thannipuzha was established in June 1975.The hard work and effort of the pioneers are reflected in the history of our school as it was standing in the peak of its glory from the very moment of its existence.
Today we the management and staff strive hard to bring out the best from the students entrusted to our care. The unceasing support of our PTA is always an encouragement for us to dive through the trouble and difficulties of our time, thus to accomplish the dream of the Divine.
We are at the doorstep of Golden jubilee. We stand in awe of the marvellous deeds the Almighty has done for our institution and its members. His grace and guidance have been our strength, and we are forever grateful for His blessings. May our existence as an unaided school mould many more young minds to know oneself and the creator more and more to impart one’s maximum for the society.
